And, much like lag, suddenly all the inputs I've tried to commit. but even swapping weapons, trying to read maps or jumping, anything I do while charging forward doesn't happen. I thought this was possibly my 'W' key sticking. I'll be running in a direction and continue in the direction for several seconds. I've also had increasing issues with interface lag, noted very much like a latency issue without ping alterations. More than mere FPS drop it actually slogs so badly that I think the FPS drop is a SECONDARY issue, it feels very much like rubberbanding and showcases symptoms very similar to rubber banding even if I am not teleporting around. The least stable fps is obtained when Vsync is set to on in the Nvidia control panel. In fact, I have a weaker system (Asus laptop) that runs the game and experiences less FPS drop. The fast and adaptive Vsync options available in the Nvidia control panel result in the most stable states (less than 4 ms between consecutive frames for nearly 98 of all frames captured). but it will drop impressively fast into the teens without obvious cause. With V-sync I rail hard into 60 and it wants more.
I rush into 90+ FPS without Vsync.but tearing.yea. I too run a 1070 though your CPU exceeds mine (i7-6700HQ) our specs are similar otherwise. Glad to know I'm not alone in this issue.
